High-Definition TV capable of receiving and displaying high-definition programming.
HD Digital Set-top Terminal from Time Warner Cable or CableCard for local broadcast HD programming.
Is there an additional monthly charge for the HD Digital Set-top Terminal?
The HD Terminal is billed at the same monthly rate as the Digital Set-top Terminal
What programming is currently available in High-Definition?
We continue to expand your HD offerings, on Oahu and Kauai, with the recent addition of three new HD premium channels, Cinemax HD
(on digital channel 1622), TMC HD (1664) and STARZ HD (1655). We also plan to add HD
versions of MHD, a non simulcast MTV (1593), Home & Garden HD (1323), Food HD (1321), CNN HD (1113), History HD (1327),
A&E HD (1547), and Lifetime Movie Network HD (1449) this week. Additional HD channels are expected to launch by the end of
the year. With the addition of the new channels, we now offer 31 choices of HDTV channels. A&E HD will be statewide. The current line-up of HD channels
is as follows:
Is there an additional monthly charge to receive HD channels?
If you currently subscribe to one or more of the following: HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, TMC or Starz; there is no additional charge for the HD versions of those channels. If you currently subscribe to Showtime Unlimited, there is no additional charge for the HD Showtime channel.
There is a $6.95 fee to receive HD Entertainment Pak, which includes Mojo, HD Net Movies, HD Universal, HD Showcase On Demand and additional HD channel favorites.
When will other channels be available in High-Definition?
There are several channels currently available in HD. As more become available, we will add channels based on channel space availability and corporate contracts with those channels.
A number of Fox Sports Net's owned and operated regional sports networks will begin to produce live HD game telecasts of many of the Major League Baseball, National Basketball Association and National Hockey League teams within those local communities.
