How to Set a Timer for Future Programs

You can set a VCR timer or a reminder for a future program.

  1. Press GUIDE to display the IPG.
  2. Use the arrow buttons to find the program you want to watch.
  3. Press SELECT. The Future Program Options screen appears.

    4. There are three available options:

    • Set a Reminder Timer for the selected program
    • Tune to the current channel now
    • Set a VCR* Timer for the selected program
  4. Use the buttons to choose your options, then press SELECT.



*If you are setting a VCR timer, you must program your VCR to record at the proper time. If you have an optional VCR Commander™ module, the cable box automatically starts and stops the VCR record function.
