Q. What is My Account?
A. My Account (click here to see the login page) is used to manage many of Oceanic Time Warner Cable services, all in one place, from your PC. Home Phone, Remote DVR and Voice Zone are among the services you will be able to manage within My Account. More features will be added in the future.
The capability to pay your bill is not available for the Hawaii region in My Account. You will need to sign in to Oceanic Bill Pay Service for that function.
Q. When I try to create a username and password for My Account, the first thing that is asked for is an email address. Do I need to use my TWC email address here?
A. No, your TWC email address is not required for this prompt, but you can use it. You should use an email address to which you have quick access, because instructions on continuing the My Account registration process will be sent to the email you provide.
Note: "Road Runner email" has been renamed to "TWC Email".
Q. Is my TWC email username and password is the same as the My Account username and password?
No, your TWC email username and password is NOT the same as your My Account username and password.
Q. When I try to create a username and password for My Account, I am being asked for the account number from my billing statement. Where do I find this?
A. Get the billing statement that Oceanic Time Warner Cable mails to you, or if you have paperless billing, retrieve the statement from your Oceanic Bill Pay Service.
Your account number is the 12-digit number on the bottom of the second page of your billing statement. (See the image of your billing statement, below.)
The account number is printed in the following format: 111 222 333 444.
Q. Is the username and password the same for My Account as for Oceanic Bill Pay Service?
A. No. You will need to create a separate username and password for My Account.
However, if you already have a username and password created for Home Phone, or to access ESPN3 or Speed2 or the TWC TV app, the username and password created for these services will work to get you into My Account.
Q. Can't I do the same things in My Account that I can do in Oceanic Bill Pay Service?
A. No. The sign-in page for Oceanic Bill Pay Service (click here to see the login page) lists the main functions that are available in Oceanic Bill Pay Service (on the left) and in My Account (on the right).
Q. Do I need My Account to use the TWC TV™ App?
A. All you need is to establish a Username and Password for My Account, and use it to sign in to the App. That’s it. There is no additional configuration within My Account for the App.
Q. Do I need My Account to access the streaming sports content on ESPN3?
A. All you need is to establish a username and password for My Account, and use it to sign in to the WatchESPN.com website. That’s it. There is no additional configuration within My Account for ESPN.
Q. On the Time Warner Cable website, I see references to a “TWC ID.” What is that?
A. “TWC ID” is the username and password you would use to login to My Account.
