Voice Mail automatically plays your recorded greeting and takes a message when you can’t or don’t want to answer the phone. To see if you have messages, simply pick up the phone. A special “Beep-Beep-Beep!” stutter dial tone means you have a message.

Voicemail FAQs

Does Home Phone offer Voicemail?
Yes. Voicemail, available for a small additional cost, allows you to retrieve messages at home or when you are away.

What is VoiceZone®?
VoiceZone, within the MyServices portal, is included with your Voicemail service. The easy-to-use application allows you to access and manage your voice messages and phone settings online.

Are there storage limits to Voicemail?
You can store up to 30 minutes of messages with Voicemail, and the maximum length for each message is 3 minutes. You will also be alerted when you’re nearing your mailbox’s storage limit.

Am I able to have more than one Voice Mailbox?
Currently, we only offer one Voice Mailbox for each Home Phone number. Note: If you have Second Line service, you can view both of your phone lines’ voicemail messages in VoiceZone.

With our enhanced Voice Mail service you’ll get:

  • From Home – Just dial your home number to check messages. No need to enter a PIN number. Get more info on PIN Skip and Privacy.
  • Away From Home – Get Fast Login and Easy Access to your messages away from home with VoiceZone™.

Retrieving Voice Messages

To retrieve voice messages, there are three possible ways to access your Voice Mail: by dialing [*] 98, by dialing your own Home Phone/Home Phone Unlimited Statewide telephone number or through the Voice Mail access number (808-206-9800).You can retrieve messages from home or, while you are away from home, using any touch-tone phone.

From Home Using Home Phone/Home Phone Unlimited Statewide:

  • Lift the handset of your phone.
  • A stutter dial tone means you have a message(s).
  • Dial [*] 98 or your 7 or 10 digit home phone number and wait for your Voice Mail to answer.
  • The Voice Mail system will tell you how many new messages you have.
  • Press the [1] key to listen to your messages.

Away from Home Using any Other Phone (Dialing your Home Phone Number):

  • Lift the handset of any touch-tone phone.
  • Dial your 7 or 10 digit home phone number.
  • Wait for your call to go into the Voice Mail system; you will hear your Voice Mail greeting.
  • Press the [*] key.
  • Enter your PIN followed by the [#] key.
  • The Voice Mail system will tell you how many new Voice Mail messages you have.
  • Press the [1] key to listen to your messages.

Away from Home Using any Other Phone (Dialing your Voice Mail Access Number):

  • Lift the handset of any touch-tone phone.
  • Dial the Voice Mail access number (808-206-9800).
  • Enter your 10-digit home telephone number and press the [#] key.
  • Enter your PIN followed by the [#] key.
  • The Voice Mail system will tell you how many new Voice Mail messages you have.
  • Press the [1] key to listen to your messages.

 

Digital Phone does not include back-up power and, as in the case with an electric-powered home cordless phone, should there be a power outage, Digital Phone, including the ability to access 9-1-1 services, will not be available. Additional charges apply for taxes, fees, Directory Assistance, Operator Services and calls to International locations. Offer valid for residential customers in Digital Phone serviceable areas.
