What is PhotoShow?
PhotoShow is a powerful and incredibly easy-to-use service that lets you transform your digital photos and video clips into amazing multimedia shows you can watch on your computer and on TV. PhotoShows aren't like ordinary, static slideshows—they're more like short movies with captions, transitions, clip art and music. But making movies has never been so easy!
What is PhotoShowTV?
PhotoShowTV is a fun and easy way for you to share your precious memories with family, friends, and your local community. First you visit PhotoShow on the web to upload your photos and create your own multimedia PhotoShow. Then you choose the community where you'd like your PhotoShow to be broadcast, and in just a little while you and yours will be able to watch your PhotoShow on TV with On Demand from Time Warner Cable.
You can also make PhotoShows and share them to TV using the PhotoShow Deluxe desktop software from Road Runner High Speed Online.
Where is PhotoShowTV available?
PhotoShowTV is currently available in the following Time Warner Cable markets:

How do I broadcast my photos to PhotoShowTV?
To make PhotoShows and share them to TV, all you need is a computer, an high-speed online connection and a Road Runner email address. Here's how it works:
- Go to http://www.rr.com/photoshowtv and click Make A PhotoShow.
- On the Make your own PhotoShow page, choose a title for your PhotoShow.
- Select the photos you'd like to include in your PhotoShow, then click Upload Photos.
- On the Edit Your PhotoShow screen, choose a style for your PhotoShow, and set other options for your show such as captions, opening titles and music. When you're finished, click the Next button.
- To save your PhotoShow, create a new PhotoShow account using your Road Runner email address. If you already have a PhotoShow account, click Sign In HERE and enter your information. If you do not remember your Road Runner email address go to https://help.rr.com/urt to retrieve it.
- On the PhotoShow Details page, click Save to save your PhotoShow.
- On the Share Your PhotoShow page, choose the TV tab, then choose the area where you'd like to broadcast your show and click Broadcast to TV, and you're done!
- PhotoShowTV will send you a confirmation email with details about when your PhotoShow will be available for viewing on Time Warner Cable On Demand. Let all your friends know, so they can tune in and see your PhotoShow masterpiece on TV!
When is my PhotoShow going to be on TV?
Your PhotoShow should air within a week of submission, but it may take longer depending upon participation, so please be patient. After we receive your PhotoShow, we will review it to make sure it's suitable for broadcast on PhotoShowTV. Once we approve your PhotoShow, we will schedule your PhotoShow for TV broadcast and send you an email letting you know when your PhotoShow will be available for TV viewing through your Time Warner On Demand cable service. We'll also let you know what category your PhotoShow will appear in.
How long will my PhotoShow be on TV?
PhotoShows appearing on PhotoShowTV will be available for a minimum of three days. Depending upon the number of shows available, your PhotoShow may be on the air for longer than three days.

How do I watch my PhotoShow on PhotoShowTV?
PhotoShowTV is available through Time Warner Cable On Demand for digital cable subscribers. To watch PhotoShowTV, tune to the PhotoShowTV On Demand channel for your local area:
- Hawaii (statewide): Channel 917
The PhotoShowTV on demand area contains a number of different categories of PhotoShows. Use the Left and Right arrows on your cable remote control to browse to the category you're interested in, then use the Up and Down arrows to find the name of the PhotoShow you would like to watch. Hit the Select button to watch.
Can my friends watch my PhotoShow on PhotoShowTV?
Yes, your friends and family in the community can also watch your PhotoShow! When you broadcast your PhotoShow to PhotoShowTV, it is available for the whole community to watch. Before your PhotoShow is published to TV, you will receive an email confirming its broadcast date. Be sure to forward this email to friends and family so they know when to tune in. (Note: To watch your PhotoShow on TV, your friends must have access to Time Warner Cable On Demand in your area.)
What content is okay to include in my PhotoShow for broadcast on PhotoShowTV?
It's okay for your PhotoShow to contain photos and video clips to which you own the publishing rights. Copyrighted material belonging to third parties cannot be shared on PhotoShowTV, so please be sure to use your own content only. PhotoShowTV is rated TV-G, which means content determined to be adult or otherwise inappropriate will not be broadcast.

Is there any limit to the length of PhotoShow I can submit to PhotoShowTV?
Yes. The limit is five minutes. PhotoShows that run longer than five minutes during playback will not be eligible for broadcast on PhotoShowTV.
Is there a limit to the number of PhotoShows I can submit for broadcast on PhotoShowTV?
No. You can submit as many PhotoShows as you like.
Can I use my own music in my PhotoShow?
PhotoShows using your own music cannot be broadcast because of international copyright laws governing the online sharing of digital music. That means if you want to be able to watch your PhotoShow on PhotoShowTV, you cannot use your own mp3. Fortunately, there are hundreds of songs included in the PhotoShow jukebox, so you should have no trouble finding something that suits your show. All the songs in the PhotoShow jukebox have been legally cleared for sharing, online and on TV.

I haven't received the email letting me know when my PhotoShow will be broadcast on PhotoShowTV.
When you submit your PhotoShow to PhotoShowTV, you should receive a confirmation email that we have received your show. After we review your show, we will send you another email letting you know whether it has been approved for broadcast. If it has been approved, the email will include detailed information about when your PhotoShow will air. If you do not receive an email within seven days letting you know whether your show has been approved and when it will be broadcast, please visit http://support.simplestar.com and click the Request Help link in the Support Center navigational menu to contact the Simple Star customer care team.
Can I broadcast PhotoShows to TV from my Road Runner PhotoShow Deluxe software?
Yes, you can also use the Road Runner PhotoShow Deluxe software to create a PhotoShow and broadcast it to TV. Road Runner PhotoShow Deluxe contains advanced options for customizing your PhotoShow, and it is available free to Road Runner customers.
To get Road Runner PhotoShow Deluxe:
- Go to http://www.simplestar.com/landing/rr/photoshow and enter your Road Runner email address in the required field. Click Continue.
- On the next webpage, click the Download Now button to download the PhotoShow Deluxe program installer. Save the installer on your computer's desktop.
- Now click the Web Mail button and sign into your Road Runner email account. You will see a new email from Road Runner which contains your PhotoShow Deluxe registration key: you will need this key to install the software.
- On your desktop, double-click the PhotoShow Deluxe installer to launch the installation wizard. When prompted, enter your name and registration key into the required fields to unlock the software.
To create a PhotoShow and broadcast it to TV using Road Runner PhotoShow Deluxe:
- Use PhotoShow Deluxe to create a PhotoShow using your own photos and video clips.
- Next, share the PhotoShow to yourself via email (in PhotoShow Deluxe, just click Share, then click Share PhotoShows and follow the prompts). You will be prompted to activate your free PhotoShow Circle account. You must activate your PhotoShow Circle account in order to share PhotoShows via the internet and on PhotoShowTV.
- To activate your account, check your inbox for your PhotoShow Circle activation email. Click the verification link in the body of the email, then follow the prompts to finish setting up your PhotoShow Circle account.
- Your PhotoShow will now be shared. If you sent it to yourself, you should soon receive an email inviting you to view the show.
- To see your PhotoShow on TV, just click Share, then click Share PhotoShows and send your PhotoShow to the PhotoShowTV email address for the area where you'd like to broadcast your show:

- PhotoShowTV will send you a confirmation email with details about when your PhotoShow will be available for viewing on Time Warner Cable On Demand. Let all your friends know, so they can tune in and see your PhotoShow masterpiece on TV!
I'd like to withdraw my PhotoShowTV submission. What should I do?
Go to your email inbox and locate your PhotoShowTV confirmation email, which contains a link you can click to withdraw your submission. If you can't find your confirmation email, please visit http://support.simplestar.com and click the Request Help link in the Support Center navigational menu to contact the Simple Star customer care team.

Who is eligible to use PhotoShowTV?
To broadcast your PhotoShows to PhotoShowTV, you must be a Road Runner High Speed Online Subscriber.
To watch PhotoShows on PhotoShowTV, you must be a Time Warner Cable Digital Cable subscriber.

What are the system requirements for PhotoShowTV?
To create PhotoShows and broadcast them to TV from your web browser, all you need is a Road Runner email account and a computer with a high-speed internet connection. Both Windows and Macintosh operating systems are supported.
System requirements for Road Runner PhotoShow Deluxe software:
- Microsoft Windows 98SE / ME / 2000 / XP
- Intel Pentium III 500 MHz or faster
- 128 MB RAM (256 MB recommended)
- Hard Drive: Minimum 80 MB free hard drive
- Windows compatible sound card
- DirectX 8 or higher
- Macromedia Flash Player version 8 or higher
- High-speed internet connection
- Road Runner email account
